The Watch Tower is engineered using the same Bahu-Balli lattice structural system that formed the basis of BSU India's 140-foot Bamboo Tower recognised by the Golden Book of World Records, 2024. This proven structural approach provides confidence in the safety, durability, and performance of the elevated platform system. In addition to visitor use, the structure supports forest department operations including wildlife monitoring, anti-poaching surveillance, habitat observation, and early fire detection activities.

Ecological Advantage
The Bahu-Balli Watch Tower is designed to minimise site disturbance during installation and throughout its operational life. In most soil conditions, the structure requires no concrete columns and no deep-excavation foundations, helping preserve existing terrain and vegetation.
The lattice bamboo frame occupies a compact footprint, with four primary column positions within a 3 m × 3 m plan area, allowing the surrounding habitat to remain largely undisturbed. At the end of its service life, the structure can be dismantled and removed with minimal residual impact to the site.
